Down Time

We’re back.  From our vacation in Florida.  We go every year since my family is there.  We fly Allegiant Air, it’s cheap, and fast.  I am going to send them an email to let them know how awesome they are!  People don’t do that enough, they just know how to complain!  I did get chosen for the pat down by security at the St. Pete airport, but hey, that’s OK.  It wasn’t a cute guy, it was a security chick.  I wasn’t carrying a concealed weapon in my pants or anything else in my crevices!  We made it home.  The thing about the short 2 hour flight is that is makes your vacation feel a bit surreal.  This morning, I was swimming in the Gulf of Mexico followed by a dip in the pool.  Now, I’m home.  No sand under my feet, with the exception of what might be lingering in my sandals.  I’m exhausted.  Suitcases are unpacked, clean clothes put away, dirty ones washing!  I’ve already made a quick run to the grocery store, ate dinner and showed our photos to the in-laws (who live next door).  We’ve only been home for 3 1/2 hours.  Amazing.  Merlot.  Brush teeth.  Get in bed.
